I don't know I guess I'm crazy but I somebody told me long ago that OOT was a good game so I got it and started playing it about 6 months after it came out and I just couldn't stand it... I don't know what it was but I've had kind of a prejudice against the Zelda franchise since. Then I recently started playing tp and I would rank it in my top ten games of all time. IDK....

Honestly i felt sort of the same way before i really got into it. The game mechanics were much different from what i was used to and i just didn't feel all that excited over it. Now i look back and on my personal list OOT is my most favorite game of all time. Then again Brawl still needs to come out...lists can change hehe.

ok cmon guys. oot was sweet but i think alot of people are saying its way better than it actually was. the great things about oot were: it was epic, it was the first 3d zelda game, controls were great, items were great, had an ocarina which was awesome, defined the first keystone in the entire storyline that is zelda games. but tp was just sex in game form, it was all there. i

ts so hard to make a sequel (not including wind waker and the gb/ds games) to a game rated close to or absolutely best of all time. tp had the elements of ocarina that stayed true like the melodies the music the designs of places, the farmiliar setting of hyrule the names of things the heroes bow the statues of the goddesses the zoras and gorons, skull kid lost woods, sages, last remaining sheikah impala was it?. temple of time (that was so cool being there and knowing it was from oot so long ago), there was the case of the missing ocarina replaced by slightly awful wolf howl but apart from that tp was so epic. it was such a pleasure reminiscing in better graphics. it had a new spin on things with the changing into an animal in the twilight -a wolf, that mimics his turning into a rabit in the corrupted secred realm in the older games. the items were there plus a few more.. the sword techniques were upgraded, the shield was ussed better, the arrows were aimed with the wiimote.

it was like the feeling you get when you enter the underwater hyrule in wind waker.. but the whole game was that feeling. the bosses were far better (save maybe dark link but he was only cool because he was dark link. fighting him sucked) the final ganon battle had equal epicness i think.

even aside from graphics.. was oot truly a better game?

Ajax...you have one GREAT point that makes me change my mind. OoT and TP are tied...together with WW. What I loved most in all of these is the nostalgia feel you get. They are so tied together that they really amaze me. WW was so epic because it gave a new meaning to Ganondorf's past. It showed a more noble reason as to why he became the villain of the game. Seeing the Underwater Hyrule for me in WW was total bliss. My favorite part was seeing the stain glass in the room of the master sword. How I loved it oh so much! TP was great in that the most nostalgic part was going to the depths of the temple of time. During OoT, you were stuck in the room of the Master Sword. Like other temples in OoT, it turns out that that Temple also had secret chambers and rooms. That's what I loved about the Temple of Time. I do think that the original OoT had the idea to make the Temple of Time the Light Temple. If you go to Ganon's castle in OoT, there is a Light room there and it really reminds me of the Temple of Time in TP. And everything with that is total bliss. I suddenly can't decide which one I like more because you reminded me of how I love the twists and turns that it made. I just realized that the Triforce started the whole fight but when it went to the core of it, it was pretty much saving Hyrule from an onslaught of power brought by Ganondorf. The twists of the ever-changing game just screams LOVE!!! I love LoZ!
