Hanenbow

There’s one stage where the My Music function won’t work. That stage is called "Hanenbow," from the Electroplankton game.

Beautifully colored leaves are here and there.

The angles of the leaves change when you attack them.

Sometimes the leaves will obstruct attacks.

And this is a Hanenbow.

Hanenbow jump up from the water below.

The Hanenbow don’t have any effect on the players, but if they hit a leaf, they’ll make a sound and rebound.

Each sound rings out pure and clear.

They make sounds when they jump around, too. Depending on the angle and the patterns of the Hanenbow, the sounds will change on this artistic stage.

...But then again, the game noises are intense, so you won’t have time to notice! Well, maybe sometimes you might.

If you make all the leaves red, a flower will bloom on the tree to the right!

Lucas just wants to pick that flower...

Each sound rings out pure and clear.

Hmm...Diddy is happy to hear the music. The music put Luigi into deep thought. And peach tries to sing with the acoustics of hanenbow but fails miserably.

By the way, why is everything centered David?

Electroplankton is an interactive music video game developed by the Japanese interactive media artist Toshio Iwai and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo DS portable gaming system. This unique software allows one to interact with animated "plankton" and create music through one of ten different "plankton themed" interfaces. This title is commonly not regarded as a video game in the fullest sense, but rather a "toy" because there is no objective, timer, or top score. It is also regarded as a demonstration by Nintendo of the capabilities of the DS's ability to take input by microphone (which in most games is limited to simply recognizing whether the player is blowing into it) as well as the touch screen and symbolic linking of the responses/senses "touch, speak, see, hear." Everything that the game has to offer is available from the beginning. The first-run edition of Electroplankton in Japan came bundled with a set of blue colored ear bud headphones.

Cool Stage I like it. But you can't swim in the water for some reason.

I love this stage.  The ambiance reminds me of a modern art museum, or one of those really hands-on science museums. At least, until the gentle dings and clings of the stage are drowned out by the sounds of combat and destruction.

I don't like the stage very much, although I can appreciate the ambiance and atmosphere of it all.  This stage is just suicide central for me.

That stage reminds me a lot of paper Mario because of the 2d graphics.
