Alanis Morrisette?
Seriously, with the evolution of language, ironic will probably end up with it's definition shifted to something even more vague than it already is that encorperates pretty much any statement that is weird or funny in any way within the next 100 years.
God, you're probably right... I really hate that kind of stuff. I already know tons of people who confuse coincidence with irony.

let's see if I'm one of those people... coincidence: basically two or more things occur that connect in a odd way, but even without one, you would have the other irony: when the unexpected happens to those who (or things) you would least expect it to happen to...

coincidence literally just means that things happen together . usaully used to refer to an unlikely combination of events .
irony is when an observation is contrary to its accepted meaning or that which would be expected .

<Griff> So now we have to work together. How ironic. <Simmons> What? That's not ironic. What would be ironic is if we had to work together in order to hurt eachother. <Sarge> I think it'd be ironic if our guns didn't fire bullets. But instead squirted a healing salve that cured all wounds. <Kaboose> I think it would be ironic, if we we all made out of iron. (two hours later) <Church> Okay. So we're agreed. This situation, while not ironic, is in fact unusual, in that we are acting in a manner contrary to the way we normally act.
The problem with irony is that it's such a complex concept and whether something is or is not ironic is often subjective so it's definition always comes off as a little bit vague, which is why so many people have problems using it properly.

Looking back through this update I realise there's quite a few Pokemon I have yet to see:
* Moltres * Entei * Suicune * Ho-oh * Manaphy * Jirachi
Are there any Pokemon you haven't seen yet?
I'm not sure exactly about the effectiveness of Gardevoir's "Reflect" either - I remember shooting one of Samus's charged shots at the Reflect "force-field" to see if it worked, but the shot went straight through. I do however remember seeing a "glancing" hit bounce off the "force-field" on a Youtube video.
Anyone have any observations on the effectiveness of Gardevoir's "Reflect"?

Manaphy. Jirachi dropped the stickers off of the platfrom, Mew's CD drop bounced off the ledge, and Celebi dropped a trophy when the timer ran out.

Similar things have happened to me.

It works for the weaker projectiles. Try this, get a Gardevoir and Super Spicy Curry together. Be the one who has the curry but not the owner of Gardevoir. Stand next to the field. All the fire will go back to you. Gardevoir's reflect doesn't reflect Gardevoir's owner's attacks. As for characters I haven't seen: Moltres and Lugia

well youre not missing out on much. Lugia almost always misses, and Moltres is just like a small immoble groudon.
