Ganondorf
The demon thief Ganondorf has returned! He’s the largest and bulkiest of all the human-type characters. His movement, his attack capability – everything feels weighted. Ganondorf’s attacks land with heavy thunks, which gives him a very unique feel.

Ganondorf's Special Moves Standard Special Move | Warlock Punch | Side Special Move | Flame Choke | Up Special Move | Dark Dive | Down Special Move | Wizard's Foot | Final Smash | Beast Ganon | | TipsIn the last game, Ganondorf appeared with a stocky build, so he’s got a middle-aged guy’s body here too. His techniques are rendered with his solidity in mind – they’re brimming with the refinement of middle age.
He runs while panting... "Uff uff uff!"

A piercing kick! He blasts the opponent sideways.Down Taunt: Ganondorf draws a sword.
He takes out the sword he stole from the six Sages and takes a look at it...

...and then puts it away. What are you putting it away for? Use it! People tend to make fun of Ganondorf for this. Side Special Move: Flame Choke

On the ground, he grabs the opponent’s head and thumps it down.

In the air, he immediately slams the foe earthwards! As you end up close to the opponent lying on the ground, neither you nor your foe should let your guard down. Try a follow-up attack, or get up and fight – if not, dodge away from your enemy and unleash your counterattack.
It’s relatively easy to make successful standard attacks against bulkier, larger opponents.
Up Special Move: Dark Dive

Jump here...

...and if the opponent stays close, you’ll grab and electrify him/her.

If the opponent is far off, hit him with the Darkness from your hand.Attacks which burn the opponent like charcoal are classified as "Darkness". If a sticker has the Darkness effect, it’ll have the same effect as Ganondorf’s charring blows. His standard special move Warlock Punch and down special move Wizard’s Foot are also Darkness attacks. Final Smash: Beast GanonHe transforms into a massive demonic beast and charges!! Even though it lasts but a fleeting moment, it’s a visually striking and terrifying attack.
Trans...FORM!!!

Roarrrrrrrrrr!

Charge! The effect lasts only a split second, but what an impact. Whoa. Those who have used Ganondorf may have noticed this... His roar has the effect of paralysing enemies who are right in front of him. This affects only those who are standing on solid ground. If you want to dodge this, I’d suggest using a jump or something to keep your feet off the ground.
He can also bury his opponents when he transforms. You’re kidding, right?

Yeah, I can't believe that he could think such a thing and not implement it. It's stupid. Why would Sakurai say that it's silly to not use the sword but not use it in the game? As a comedic effect? It's so weird... On a somewhat related note, why does Beast Ganon... ...have the scar from the sages but Ganondorf... ...doesn't? What's with all the oddities when it comes with the Sword of the Sages? Shouldn't Ganondorf use the sword AND have a sage scar? And why isn't Wolf Link and Midna in the game...so that Beast Ganon can't be defeated?

this reminds me of something! in practice mode you get two FS, one for Bowser and one for Ganondorf... if used at the same time (approximately), which one would stay? oh, and a 9.9/10, for reminding us on how weird they are...

I would like to see how good Ryan is with GANONDORF. I never really liked GANONDORF because he was to slow for me. But I wanted GANONDORF to use his sword anyway. 9/10 because GANONDORF is still a clone.

Yeah, Sakurai's a bit of a dumbass eh? I think he only really cares about Kirby and his own dumbass creations - the "effort" he put into Falco's, Wolf's, Ganondorf's, Lucas' and Ike's "non-clone" movesets proves that much. Oh and I direct this to Ganondorf - "You're too slow!"

Ganondorf is going to make Sakurai rue the day he made those middle-aged figure comments. I almost feel like he's making fun of Ganon in the way he designed him...
"What are you putting it away for? Use it! People tend to make fun of Ganondorf for this."
THEN PROGRAM A MOVESET WHERE HE USES IT!
It's still a great game, but some of Sakurai's comments on the Dojo, such as the one he made about Gray Fox saying "don't you wish he was a playable character?" drive me crazy.
Also, I like TP Beast Ganon, but I still think he should have transformed into either Ganon from OoT or LttP Ganon like Zelda transforms into Shiek. The old Ganon with the trident and battle armor in his pig form has been sadly forgotten.

DUN DUN DUN!!!!! IT HAS FINALLY ARRIVED! the update for the greatest nintendo character that was ever created, the evil theiving bulky gerudo warlock of darkness, GANONDORF!!!!!!! this guy is the man, whether you like him or hate him you damn well better respect him. he's the true essence of evil people! It is true that i was once pretty damn good with GANONDORF in melee, easily taking out teams of opponents. but sadly, the transition from Melee to Brawl has seen a great drop in my GANONDORF fighting skill. lately i've been using other characters and have seen to forgot about GANONDORF but this update has just inspired me to rekindle my GANONDORF training and become the best there is. Watch out fellow smashers! GANON's coming! GANONDORF FTW!!!
