Is it possible for SP to have the same feature as IGN? Could you do something so we can upload the bin files of stages onto SP and let others download it? If it's not possible...then IGN would have to do...

Man, that would be awesome! The whole idea would just fit Smash Power perfectly.
I wasn't planning on downloading stages before...but I'm now considering doing so from SP if this pulls through.

Oooh...that'll be awesome! In that case, we should have a whole section dedicated to it. And we should post pictures of the stages. This will be sweet. This means I need to buy sd cards...NO!!!

SD cards....that will be fun. Think one will be enough? Wink
But seriously, that would rock. I can see it being a very popular section on Smash Power...if not the most popular.

small stages take up about 6k of space . larger ones shouldn't take mroe than about 50k . the smallest SD card you can buy (which costs < $5) holds about 64M , enough for roughly 1000 large levels .

Because bandannas and shades are cool.

I am everywhere...I am nowhere...and I am also somewhere inbetween

Oh, so its great that IGN informed us that the file is in BIN format. Thanks rocky. It's great that this was planned earlier on.

Cool. For some reason I was thinking they would take up more space. I think room for 1000 stages would be enough for me Wink

the files are very small because they only contain instructions for where to lay out a small number of a small variety of different blocks . the background image isn't saved to the file, the background music isnt saved , etc . it's basically a well-scrambled text file  of instructions . very little data required .

that's cool...good thing they don't save because other wise, you probably would need 1000 SD cards from my experience with html...
