Turns out the release of characters is a combination of my two theories. I knew it was iffy on the side of Ganondorf, ROB and Mr. Game & Watch and I guess Sakurai didn't want to spoil Ganondorf's playability much...

Kevin is yet to beat me when I use G+W. We played about 7 matches and he hasn't won yet. Now Im sure im good with him.

well of course if you come up with enough theories , and they all prove to be wrong , then the true pattern will be a combination of your wrong ones .

So you mean 2 is enough? HAHA. Anyways, if it weren't for the 3 (ROB, G&W and Ganondorf), my arrangement would have been correct. HAHA. I guess I knew that I couldn't predict that part very well...but I tried.
