I easily say delay the game so it will be better. Many companies including Nintendo have done that to many of thier huge games just for the simple reason for it to be able to live up to peoples expectations. Glitches aren't a huge upset but they can defeinitly take some of the polish and excellence off of the game. Even though there are marketing reasons behind the delay as well, i'm behind Nintendo and when they decide to release it then it will happen.

As badly as i want this game now, im willing to wait a few extra months for this game to really live up to the hype and potential that there is. Theres gonna be a lot of pissed off people if there are bugs and glitches found in the game even after the delay.well, lets hope it turns out alright.

i think this game could get a 10 from ign. melee got a 9.6 and brawl will be bigger and better than melee, so what do u you guys think?

i chose the delay one, since we already got it, and since it will make the game better, which is the most important thing to me.

Well obviously you want the game to be as good as it can be. If it had been released tomorrow, many people wouldnt have been prepared because some are waiting to get all their supplies during Christmas season, and if they dont they'll still have time afterwards. So its a good thing to gather up a huge community for such a great game. Its gunna be awesome

Yes delays can be good, though i promise you this Nintendo, if you choose to delay this game on antother basis of marketing and profit potential then you will have a few hundred-thousand gamers paying you a visit. Feb release is all good with me, but don't you dare do it again.

I subscribe to the Blizzard philosophy.

When Diablo was delayed and misssed the Christmas release, Blizzard was denounced as fools and that they were going to lose millions in christmas sales.  But they wanted to make sure their game was perfect before it was released.  When it was released it became the best selling video game to date.  They repeated the exact same thing with Diablo II and Warcraft 3, both missing "crucial launch dates" because they'd rather have a great game than a good game.  Each one beat the last one's records and became the fastest selling video game ever.  To this date, Blizzard holds that title.  (This is based on number of games sold within the first month)

And to quote Miyamoto "A delay is temporary, but a bad game is forever."

Everyone's willing to wait, complain though they might.  I am tempted to drop an EA Games reference concerning rushed products, but as a general rule, companies like Blizzard and Nintendo are good about making the wait worth it.
Of course, waiting does not always equal quality... I present Prey (run-of-the-mill shooter with cool effects) and Black & White 2 (most overrated game EVER).
But when we're talking about the giants of gaming...

well with the online function of the wii, patches would have been a good idea too. even if they took a day to download i would be alot better if it came out the 3rd.
