The first official tournament to be opened on smashpower.com . Tournament starts at 1AM EST to allow time to buy the game at midnight and drive home .

Additional rounds will begin every 10 minutes .

Please encourage your friends to join the tournament as well . Let's make our maiden voyage a good one .

look at the start time for the tournament . if it is later than midnight , it means that you are in the eastern time zone . if you lived in a different time zone , it would show the local time of the tournament , which would be midnight or earlier if you are further west . that's why it's designated as a east coast tournament . other regions wont have the game yet .

Damn, I want to join this tournament (those are my kind of rules!).  But it is too soon after it's released.  I will be playing  with a bunch friends and I'm sure we'll be duking it out all night.  I definitely will be joining tournaments soon though, Rocky, probably a few days after release.

Haha thats exactly how i feel! im having a couple of friends over for the midnight release so yeah. ill definitely do the next one though

no . the tournament should last less than an hour , so it should be ok anyway . the time is linked to the forum's date-keeping routine , which means that it knows when to roll its clocks back .
