Wow, thanks for the welcome

And yes, I'll steer clear of the of the monkeys (or baboons...sounds like someone needs to shoot one to find out...). Well, we'll see. Curiosity may just get the best of me

Now, where to start?
@ DJ: Glad to meet the you. Hmmm, as of right now I'm not to sure about giving out any real name. I would go for a nickname, but linguistically, all of the really distinct names have no nicknames! *sigh* I'll try to think of something simpler you can call me. Also, I just wanted to say how much I like you artwork. I'm an artist myself (nothing really to boast about) and have an interest in digital design. I have many of the CS3 programs...but I haven't gotten around to really using them. I do plan to, though.
@ Malin: Pikachu certainly has my respect for being a good character. Samus too. Well, at least in the hands of a skilled player, which certainly sounds like you based on your controllers

No need to worry about me being better than you. I've only begun playing Melee last December...and only on alternate weekends. I really don't know how "good" I really am-- besides playing against my younger brother, I've only played against the computer (I can defeat several characters on level 9, if that helps).
@ Sarah: Wow, the only G+W user? Must be tough. Lets hope that changes soon. G+W has never been...my favorite. Zelda has always fit my style more.
@ Ryan: Ganondorf, huh? He always was a pain in my side. He's just so darn powerful. Oh great, Zelda's archenemy. Glad to meet you.
@ Darth Maul: There were a number of factors. 1. This forum is very clean (inappropriate language is at a minimum - and frowned upon), which was a must. 2. Everyone here is very friendly and respectful, and don't flame each other, another must 3. This site is far more intellectual then any other I've seen. Using your brain is expected...and the practice is fostered. --Yet another must. 4. It has withstood the test of time, and maintaining a civilized community despite going throughout many trials. And lastly, 5. My mom approved of it, and with a wary eye... so you all better be good

Note: Zero is my favorite X character. He rules!
@ Chris: Finally! I know someone else who likes Megaman! In answer to your second question, I am really a fan of all of them besides ZX and Legends (only because I have never played them). The Original series is my favorite, followed by EXE. To answer your first question, it must be noted that there is a total of seven different series. Which, if you think about it, it can get really confusing when discussing particular ones--including characters. So, there is a method derived strictly from the games for telling them apart: Mega Man refers to the original series, Megaman refers to the X and Legends series, and MegaMan refers to the EXE series. Also, "Mega Man" is often used to refer to the WHOLE time-line, it being the first and everything. Complicated, I know. It just sometimes helps to clarify things. Hope that helps!
Sheesh, my fingers hurt now! Sorry if this is tediously long. I tend to write that way-- not too often, but thoroughly. Hope to see ya all around!
