Hey, I'm new here; just found this site since it was posted everywhere on the comments for IGN's Smash Bros. Brawl FAQ. My name is Adam, I'm a 21 year old college student (although I'm taking some time off to work next semester) and I've been a huge Nintendo fan ever since I can remember. My first game system was an original Game Boy, and my first console was an N64 (I never owned a NES or SNES). I bought both my GameCube and Wii on launch day (it was quite a bit easier getting a GameCube at launch than a Wii, LOL.) I love Smash Bros., although I'm not that great of a player. I'm obviously overwhelmed by anticipation for this game, and while I'm disappointed at its delay, I know it'll be well worth the wait. My favorite Smash Bros. character at the moment is Samus, but I like playing with a lot of different characters. My favorites in the first Smash Bros. were Kirby and Ness. I'm really excited by all the new characters in Brawl.  I'll put my Wii system number in my signature if anyone wants to add me. Right now I can't get my Wii on the internet at my college, but I'll be back at home in NY in a couple weeks, so I can start adding people then. I don't have any games that have online multiplayer right now. I plan to get Medal of Honor Heroes 2 soon, but since that's on EA's online system, the first game I get that will have its own friend code will probably be Brawl, so I'll post that friend code when I get it. I would, however, like to register some more friends, particularly anyone who has Metroid Prime 3 and can give me some friend vouchers. But as I said, I can't get online and add people to my friends list until I go home in a couple of weeks. Anyway, just thought I'd introduce myself. I generally don't post that much on message boards, but I'll definitely check in regularly. Adam P.S. I'm a HUGE Apple and Mac fan. I've used Macs my whole life, and I hate Microsoft (although I will admit the Xbox 360 is a good console and much better than the PS3.) If anyone else is a Mac user, or hates Apple and just wants to argue with me, feel free to PM or IM me on AIM (ABassCube). Update: I'm back after a few month absence. Check my post in the last page in this thread. |

Hello, Adam. Apples and Macs? Bah. If it weren't for gaming concerns, I'd be running Linux, and as it lies, I use OpenOffice, Firefox, Realplayer... and I'm still in the process of de-Microsofting my computer. I could talk your ear off on the subject, really.

At least you seem to be anti-Microsoft. I'm all for people running Linux, I just hate Windows. The one thing I miss is all the games, but I hope to have a new Intel Mac soon, and then I'll use Boot Camp to run Windows games. I'll be home next weekend, so I can start adding people to my Wii address book then. |
