If a chrono trigger character were to be in brawl, it would have to be crono.

and if it were crono, this is what i can imagine his moveset being:

Up + B: falcon Hit (jumping side slash, similar to that new metaknight move he does in the air, cept this will have a jump included in it)

B: confuse (4-hit sword technique which makes the enemy unable to do any action while they are being hit by it, and it can possibly used after being caught in a grab-like move, like when Yoshi turns an enemy into an egg)

Down + B: spire (Crono sticks his blade into the ground and uses it as a lightning rod, similar to Pikachu’s Down + B attack, except the lightning electrifies some of the ground around the sword, hitting any opponent on the ground who is near the vicinity of Crono while he is performing this attack)

Forward + B: cyclone (something like Link’s spin attack, except the player can move around while he’s doing the attack, and it is a bit less powerful than Link’s move; in other words, it will be a merge of Yoshi’s egg roll move from Super Smash Bros. Melee and Link’s spin attack)

All of the A + direction moves can be various sword attacks that can be easily made up by Sakurai and his team.

Final Smash: Luminaire (Ultimate lightning attack that forms a half-sphere of lightning around Crono, blasting all enemies in range of it off the map)

I didnt either until about last month. I honestly know nothing about him, but he seems pretty popular by the fact that alotta people talk about him and put him in polls. Even IGN did.

this grieves and surprises me. seriously tho, if u can buy final fantasy chronicles for ps1 and play chrono trigger from there you should, its originally a snes game and the greatest rpg of all time in my opinion (and ive played quite a lot of rpgs...)

yeah his name is akira toriyama, he created dragon ball (i think). he drew chrono trigger and a few dragon quest games as well

Chrono Trigger in a nutshell.

You play as Chrono, a young boy from a peaceful village that just happens to be a master swordsman (aren't all young villagers)  After your techno friend accidentally teleports your girlfriend back in time, you quickly get caught up in a string of events jumping backward and forward through time to save the world from desolation in the year 2300.  I won't say anymore for fear of spoilers, but it's a great story line with some really cool characters like Frog (a midevil knight turned frog with kickass power and a major inferiority complex) and Magus a powerful dark wizard.
