You know how there are just these various items that keep on coming out in updates but aren't really given mention. Just post all your speculations here to what use they have and how it's used.
Clock - I have a real feeling that this has to do with the Special Brawl. Maybe there is a slow clock, a fast clock and a freeze clock. The slow clock would make everyone slow, a fast clock would make everyone fast and a freeze clock would freeze everyone except the user.
Soccerball (or Football for other countries) - It seems like this would be a kicking item. But it is amusing if the character picks it up because it's illegal to hold a soccerball with one's hands. But hey, this is smash. But maybe it's like the soccerball in strikers charged. This would really shake things up.
Electrode - Is it just me or is Electrode gigantic as compared to before. I think it's still possible to pick it up, but it looks too heavy this time around.

There was also a baseball. I'm guessing that there are a series of projectile "Sports" weapons, from the various sports games. I predict them working in one of two ways.
A) They can be picked up and thrown like normal items, with varying levels of speed, distance, and smash.
B) They cannot be picked up and instead are launched via an attack (much like the koopa shells)
I'm also hoping that - dispite the super star being present - it will be possible to switch it out for the rainbow star.

firstly yeah it was a smoke ball not a baseball. and 2ndly lol electrode wasnt big.. you do realise that was a platform that him and the smart bomb were on, not the main stage (hence there being no pokeball icon in the middle)
