This forum will serve as a spot to discuss future tournaments . I'm working on code that will make it more simple to organize many different kinds of tournaments . For now , we'll just make threads and try to gather up people who want to party .
Another thing we can do in this forum is discuss what kinds of tournaments we want to support . For the most part , this forum won't get a lot of use until after launch date , but in the mean time , any discussion related to tournaments should go here .
To make a new thread , just click the "NEW TOPIC" button in the menubar on the right .

marth was also one my best and one that i used the most in tourneys.his edge gaurding was good and that ken combo was hard to pull of but a Killer.and i heard that ike was a heavy weight and marth was a very fast charcter so i dont think it will be the same  . |

Exactly. While Marth's attacks weren't quite as strong as Roy's, Marth was SO much faster, and that was the key to his character! While I did use his counter and the sword chargin move(can't remember what it was called), I didn't use the combo too much, it seemed like a waste of time. I preffered just straight A attacks and smashes, while using Marth's dexterity to devistate. |

wow well if Marth is in the next game i would love to fight u in a tourny..lol..but any way there are always new people...In the n64 version I played as C.Falcon i was awesome.. Switched to Fox in Melee was even better... In Brawl im switching to Sonic and will prob. do even better... See the connection..? They are all fast.. if Marth's out find someone with the same qualites lol |

I'll have to. I've always been a one charcter kind of fighter. While I can hold my own with Link or Mario or Pikachu(who was my original character until he was weakend in Melee), I just have a problem with having ten different characters like some of my friends do. Maybe its just me, but I have to have a signature character. Perhaps Pit, who looks agile, or maybe even Snake, depending upon how he feels. He looks Nimble and fast, but has a bunch of clunky looking special attacks kind of like link. Then again, if we're looking for nimbleness and flexibility, we couldn't find a better character than Zero Suit Samus. She looks like she can bend into any position you want her in...lol |

cant wait for the first tournament, when ever i play with my friends, i always choose a different character, although i am really good with fox,c.falcon and mario. i have different strategies with almost every character
