Hey everyone! Due to the last update in DOJO (color change), I want to reopen a Zelda-fan question. Would Sheik be in Brawl? The most common reason fans say that Sheik is gone is because the design of Zelda is from Twilight Princess complete with brown hair and purple top with plain embroidered lavender dress. But after this update, it shows that one of the color changes is the Ocarina of Time Zelda we all know. Well, not really, it has the Twilight dress design but the color scheme of Ocarina. But hey, what if Aonuma wanted the design of the dress to change but not the color scheme. Anyway, this Zelda is the one that is blonde, has brighter gold shoulder plates, pink top with color-embroided white dress. In lieu of this, people could not use the Twilight excuse. (Getting sick and tired of it!) So is this a clue to the return of Sheik?
Sidenote: Remember the many continuity errors of Smash in LoZ alone (in previous games). Zelda gets the goddess powers that Link gained, OoT Young Link has fire arrows and the hookshot. OoT Link has the bomerang. Smash is a separate identity from the worlds involved. So what do you guys think?

I'm glad people agree! I hope Sheik ends the three week hiatus of character updates. Not anyone else rather than Sheik. It's been 5 freaking months since a Zelda update and I'd really want Sheik in!

It has been three months scince a vetrain was announced, mabye he is just waiting for the right time. It could very well be sheik.(or captain falcon).

Really...3 months since a veteran...that's long! Well, Captain Falcon isn't that bad to have as an update. But Sakurai must give it to the Zelda fans who haven't had a Zelda update for 5 months. But hey, F-Zero fans also have been crying ever since Samurai Goroh came out. But we all know he's as good as in unlike Sheik so I want Sheik to be revealed very soon!

I wonder if Zelda turns to Shiek in her final smash like Samus  (THEY WILL MOST LIKELY REVEAL HER MOVES WITHOUT SHEIK BEING THE DOWN B TO THROW US OFF FROM THINKING THERE WILL BE A SWITCH IN HER FINAL SMASH..!) |

I don't think that Zelda would pull Shiek out for her Final Smash, that would make many fans upset, not to mention Sakurai would most likely have to put in some type of crowd control or damage to make up for it like Samus -> Zero Suit Samus and vice versa. I'm much rather see Zelda summon the Triforce of Wisdom's power and rain down some magic goodness.

Dropping Sheik just wouldn't make sense, gameplay-wise. That was part of Zelda's style. Beat them to within an inch of their life as Sheik, then transform into Zelda for the killing blow. (My way of doing things, anyways. Others may disagree.) Retconning the Twilight Princess Zelda to be able to become Sheik doesn't seem hard, and they could integrate it into the Subspace Army story. Rediscovering forgotten secrets of the past to fend off new and terrible enemies, that sort of thing.
Of course, we're talking about a world in which Peach can slice a supercharged mutant Bowser to ribbons with what is essentially a lightsaber. I don't think continuity is Nintendo's highest priority in the Super Smash Bros. series.

Now that's a great idea. I was thinking of something like that in a moveset but hey, it brings back memories. Like in Majora's Mask, Link remembered the Song of Time. HAHA. So much memories!

sheik didnt apear in twilight princess, so i personaly want her gone

That's an understandable opinion, but Shiek was very popular in Melee and many fans would be upset. We'll just have to wait and see what Sakurai decides for Zelda.

Well at least someone disagreed...even if that hurts so much...overused excuse. Why would Sakurai bring back the Old Zelda design then? And it's just upsetting for those hardcore melee fans who used Sheik. It would just be totally upsetting.
