I have asked a few people including Rocky about having a Clan section on the main forum page. Now the purpose of this section would basically be to have people post seperate threads named after their clans in order to keep things organized like members, number of wins, friend codes, who plays as who, and discuss different things about your clan. I understand there is already a clans topic in General Discussion, but everything in there is so mixed up, its hard to find things and understand whats going on. I'm just looking to have a place where I can keep an organized page of my clan, and you can too.  What do you guys think? |

yeah, sure, why not? It wouldn't hurt anything...the only problem that I could see is time...but that COULD be solved I suppose...

i like this idea and i think we should all be allowed to join two clans and when we join designate a primary and a secondary(you fight for your primary clan in case they fight each other) that way we can be in clans but still main multiple characters

Yeah I see nothing wrong with joining more than one clan, theres no way you can force somebody into staying on only 1. I would also join another clan but I dont see myself using anyone but Fox for tournaments.

As busy as Rocky is, this would help people see the clans and join the ones they like. It'll be like signing up for a club and that sort. The owners could even make initiation rites and that sort of mumbo jumbo.

I hope sharing his messages doesnt get me banned  After sharing the idea with him the first time, he replied: if there's only one topic , it doesn't need its own forum or category . if the topics become numerous and require better organization , then a new forum can be created . this is how several existing areas were created . we create new areas once they prove themselves to be popular and necessary - not the other way around . After telling him the topic in General Discussion was cramped with too many things, he replied: i can't make people post in different topics . if the problem is organization , then people should be posting into seperate topics in general discussion , right ? it doesn't make sense to create a new area just because people aren't fully utilizing the current one . |

IMO, if we were to just utilize the GenDis section for the separate topics for each clan, I'd think that it'll get lost with all the hullabaloo in the GenDis. Honestly, with all the cornucopia of topics, people might forget that there is a ________ clan out there and someone who would want a similar clan would create another one and we'll have inter-character clan wars. In short, it just gets really messy. If it were in a separate section, even a child thread of the tournaments section, we can utilize Rocky's idea of "tournament polls" and it would help in the organization.
