YAY yeah i agree that makes a lot of sense.... considering he has wings too haha
I dunno, he was always notorious in melee for falling realy fast. Maby that is changed this time around though.

He does have the reflector, but he kicks it away from himself and it returns to him like a boomerang. I think it's actually pretty cool.

...Anyway, I'm not sure it's 180 degrees. It's 100-slash attack so that's 2 slashes per spin, making 50 spins...thus 18000 degrees. Well, if I understand it correctly. Or maybe 100-slash counts each finger. In that case, it's just 10 spins thus 3600 degrees.
Just finished watching a tidy sum of Falco matches. (4) My "180 degree spin" comment was erroneous. Falco definitely rotates more than once. This makes it even cooler. Now that I think about it, it reminds me of Pit's spinning twin blades. You know, the attack where he just has to yell out "HANANANANA!" Yeah...that one.

any signs of gliding?
None whatsoever. At this point, I'm gonna say there's an 86% probability that Falco cannot glide. I've looked for any sort of semblance to gliding in many YouTube vids, but nothing so far. This is a highly informative "How To Play with [character]" video posted by Fox McCloud FKA Frozen. Fox/Falco: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=X37-wBnWBiU&feature=related(WARNING: major character roster SPOILERS contained within) The maker of these vids is very thorough with his character overviews. If a PC had any unique abilities, he wouldn't hesitate to show them. I've also gone to Gamefaqs to find any leads, but the end result was the same. Ufortunately, only Pit, Meta Knight, and Charizard seem to posses the ability to glide. Interesting info: Glide does 12% damage if A is pressed while doing so. (Charizard's does 9 if it's tired)

Ooh, that's really cool. The glide is both a technique and an attack. Interesting. I'll definitely try these winged wonders. As for Falco, maybe they haven't discovered it yet.

Really, I mean c'mon. No one has discovered it yet? It seems perfect to give Falco glide, it fits him and helps distinguish him from Fox. But seriously, no one has figured out Falco can glide yet?

Well it would be kind of wierd because he can't flap his wings...or at least i've never seen him flap his wings. And all the characters that can glide can fly for a certain time period. And also wasn't gliding in Melee? Peach. Well she was more like floating but still. It's kind of similar.

Yeah, the term for Peach's ability is float, not glide. It's not the same. Glide works like a glider, it has angular properties to it.

I think Wolf's is the strongest, Falco's is the most air maneuverable, and Fox's is sort of in the middle.
Actually it goes Wolf is strongest, Falco is the most air maneuverable, and Fox is the fastest.

I'm talking about the landmaster here. HAHA. Yeah, I know that doesn't work for the characters themselves.
