<Super Dragon> Yoshi soars through the air spouting bursts of flame, behavior reminiscent of the legendary tricolor Yoshi. He’s gotten the oft-mentioned Smash Ball! W-wings! He starts spewing out a jet of fire... But you can also press the button to spit out fireballs! It feels like, um...beauty and elegance...mixed with clumsiness. Certainly, no one’s ever seen Yoshi like this! Being able to fly around is nice, as is giving undivided attention to his attacks. Yoshi can live as he likes, for a brief period of time. Oh, to think it’s already over...

Yeah, I remember doing exactly that on SMW. I wonder if SMW will be incorporated in the Subspace Emissary. I'd love to squash some more Rex's.

Wario for President! But no Bowser Jr. or Ridley for Brawl!:( Oh well, there's always the next game, I guess.

Interesting to note though, the first line of this update was originally: "Some say he's a dinosaur, some say he's a dragon."
By the way, the one who edited this used the small version of the picture in the last one. Kind of inconsistent, don't you think?

Update fixed. That is odd that the first line was removed. It was fun and set the stage well. This Final Smash is one of the ones that don't excite that much fear in me. Its cool looking, but slow enough to dodge comfortably with a decent avoidance-rate (does such a thing exist?).

Yeah, I like how awesome it looks on Yoshi but it isn't one of those that would normally scare you unless your opponent is a beast with Yoshi. I'm scared more on those big transformations: Giga Bowser, Landmaster Tanks and Octopus. They're much harder to avoid.

Its the same for me. I dread those Final Smashes, while the others not so much. Another one I don't like is Wario Man. *shudders* But back to Yoshi's FS, what is it that triggers his flamethrower-breath? Is it just timed? I should know this, but I almost never play as Yoshi.

I asked the same question that's why I went back to the DOJO and smash wiki. Apparently, it is timed and after some time the breath will come out. Every time you press the fireball button, it will take some time for the breath to arrive. The strategy with this is actually diverse. You can rely on just the fireballs, but kill after a few shots, or rely on the fire breath then when the opponent is trapped, fireball and kill him/her. It really depends. It's a very strategic FS.

Oh that's interesting. I'll have to try out some strategies with it next time. I guess it isn't such a simple Final Smash after all.
