I'm still holding out for a wrecking crew stage.
@Chadders: I actually think those are some interesting ideas, although it seems to me that unless you add something more to it, Ryu's stage would just be smaller FInal Destination, unless you can jump on the roofs. I do like the idea of hearing the oldschool "Round 1: Fight!"
I do think that a Golden Eye stage would be a good tribute to one of the strongest 3rd party games for the N64

I'm still holding out for a wrecking crew stage. i think that's unlikely . every custom level looks pretty much the same as wrecking crew . i doubt they'd formulate a dedicated built-in levle just to incorporate those monkey wrench things . there is also that speculation that spike and wario are one and the same person , so they probably wouldn't put spike in as a stage hazard .

Eh, I still think it's possible. While I agree that if they were to make a new Wrecking Crew, they'd probably replace Spike with Wario because that's kind of Wario's role (messing things up for Mario) but they could still have the traditional Spike in the back.
I think it'd be interesting to have a stage that's completely destructable and lower destruction would cause the upper parts to collapse too. As opposed to repairing itself, the building would slowly rise to reveal more undamaged floors. The more damage done, the quicker it moves.

What about Diamond City from the WarioWare games? You could be standing on Dribble and Spitz taxi and they would drive around the city. It would be A LOT of chaos like in the WarioWare games. This would make most of the characters enter the game without having to be either playable character or Assist trophy.

What about the planet where the phazon came from (i forget the name) in prime 3? There could be puddles of phazon that make you go into hypermode (damage meter rises continuesly but insanly more powerful) for a short time. That would add alot of statagey to the level.

Yes, that would make for an interesting battle. And I think it was called Phaaze.

Now how's this for a stage: Wii Sports Bowling! You could have normal platforms on top of all the pins and occasionally a mii in the background would throw a bowling ball that would knock down some of the pins, thus making the available safe areas smaller, though the pins would be replaced every two strikes. Oh, and obviously, the mii could never get a strike.

I love that idea. And there could be Metroids there too. I would love to see level 3-4 (The one in the mountains) from Kirby 64 Crystal shards

Hmm...Metroids are ATs so yeah...maybe it can still work but I don't see it that way. I do love that hyper mode idea. Either you avoid it so you won't raise your damage...or risk your life to become more powerful.

My number 1 most wanted level is a Wind Waker level. having a cel-shaded design for a level would be really cool.

Why didn't I think of that It's brilliant I would like to see the area (Forgot the name) where you had to use the deku leaf to get to the forest temple. You know that place with the pillar between too islands, one with the deku tree and one with alot of thorns. If you walked in the door of one of the islands you would with no logical reason appear out the other islands door.
