Sonic’s stage is a hidden stage. It’s like the Sega Genesis makes a comeback as Nintendo hardware!

Wooow, you can see the famous shuttle loop in the back there!

Even the places you won’t see have been made just right...

One of the key features of the terrain here is the big, gently sloping dip in the ground. It’s a good place for Sonic to make runs through.

No stopping now!

However, if it takes enough impacts from attacks, the middle sections of the ground drop off.

The ground falls away in blocks.

The surface splits in three places. As the terrain changes, your tactics also have to change. Take a look at the items that are appearing, your opponents, etc., and adjust accordingly.

On the course in the background, three guests will occasionally pass by: Tails, Knuckles, and Silver.

Here they come, but they’re kinda small...

Actually though, this is how detailed we’ve drawn them!

Probably just because we like them so much.

This may be the last update that im going to give a score on Smash power. The stage looks really cool, so it gets a 9.8/10. But I wanted Sliver to be a color swap for Sonic.

Yeah, I actually wonder how you can take pictures of Knuckles and Silver. I'd love to have them just in my gallery.

It was about time Sonic's stage was "officially" confirmed by Sakurai.
Thanks to various videos, I could tell that the ground collapses.
This update, however, verified that it does so in 3 places.

Also, possibly due to the "blurry" nature of youtube, I never noticed Tails or Silver.
In a way, it'll be a challenge to capture their visage during Camera Mode.

Overall, GHZ is a modest stage with minimal gimmicks.
In fact, Snake's (our other guest) stage seems more robust.
Nevertheless, it does bring back memories of the Sega Genesis. (for better or worse)

After viewing a bunch of videos on Youtube this is actually one of the stages that I am most excited about playing.  I can't wait to see some of the Sonic track listings for it either.

As alot of people could tell, this is my favorite stagee, and the one I've been looking forward to the most. Though the update didn't mention the classic checkpoint as a hazzard. Definetly a stage I wanna play on. 10/10. (First time I EVER gave a score on an update.)

Well, if they took the time to draw them so detailed and like the so much, why isn't at least one of them a PC?  Hmm, guess they don't like them as much as they think.  Wink  Still this stage is a great addition to Brawl 9/10.
