These are the kind of parts you can unlock in Stage Builder.

Terrain like you’ve never seen before...

Like gondolas you might find on a Ferris wheel...

And conveyor belts...

Or springboards...

These are all additional parts you can use in Stage Builder. If you use parts well to build new stages, you’ll get more. It’s pretty simple to unlock them.

Don’t worry if you don’t have a lot of parts at first. More will begin to appear fairly quickly.

Eventually, things start to get pretty fancy!

Hmm...I have a theory why this function was made. In the creation of SSE, they used a lot of elements: ladders, springs, wheels and etc. It would be a waste for good programming like this to only be in the SSE so it might be better if these were also in the stages that people play. But so as not to be limited, they made stage builder. HAHA.

I know I'm gonna end up taking these and other ideas I've seen in videos of custom stages, considering I have no creativity at all. Grin

Wario for President! But no Bowser Jr. or Ridley for Brawl!:( Oh well, there's always the next game, I guess.

You can just make a crazy one that you don't really plan. Hey, that's creative.

interesting theory, but that doesn't make it any less good!

I can picture how such a conversation would have played out between Sakurai and The Studio members.
It's only pragmatic to bring those elements used in a separate mode to compliment another. (Ferris Wheel)
This theory could have legs, especially if we throw a certain hidden PC (and lack of SSE role) into the mix.

Onto the more interesting update. (sorry Yoshi)
Quasi-Easter Island heads...now I have even more stage ideas.
The last screenshot reminds me of a trip I took to Coney Island one time. (very carnival-like)

I doubt I'll actually use every single part in each stage I make.
To me, the "Keep it simple" approach is more appealing.
Overall, a 10 out of 10.

This makes up for the crappy Yoshi update. this gets a 9/10, and Yoshis update gets a 5/10, making a total of 14/20, or 7/10

Honestly, I think the combined score for me is 7/10 as well but both get 7. I just don't know why. These are things I already knew, even if there were no leaks.

But we knew about conveyer belts before. Plus, springs and the wheel is kind of known as well. I'll like this in the game...but as an update per se...it's sad.

You wouldn't need to know. You'd enjoy making them so much and playing on them that you'll get those parts. Oops, my bad, I just spoiled it. HAHA.
