well i guess if they were to put another character from the metroid series ( considered that ridley is probably a boss) rundas would be the most likely since its hard to create dark samus without being a clone

That's the point...Ridley however would most likely be a PC. Ridley is a part of the Sinister 5 (S5) so we might as well have two villains for Metroid. HAHA

Well yah...too bad, maybe Sakurai could feature him in ally form. I would really hope to see him like that because people go to the dark side for various reasons that sometimes aren't in their control.

If Samus had the Metroid Prime model, then maybe. But she still has that Super Metroid look. MP3 is too new and I doubt Rundas is in. Ridley will most likely be a boss.
To be honest I don't want another Metroid character. Metroid is all about isolation and a solo adventure. The idea is that Samus is alone and she has a bounty. So in Smash Bros, the only Metroid character should be Samus Aran.

Sinister 5 is the name for the 5 villains found on the cloud theory...but I think it's only sinister 4. You have to just check the thread out.

well.. i dunno if she is in the prime model or not.. yeah samus is pretty much alone in most of the metroid games, but this is smash, that that kind of idea doesnt really make sense. Smash isnt about the isolation solo adventure of samus, so there so be more metroid characters (and a mother brain boss! lol, that wont happen...). Rundas could be a cool character i think, and his fs could be using his ped to up his power with phazon. |

samus has her super metroid model? samus never had glowing green bits on her shoulders and legs until the prime series if you were to argue they were there before but you couldnt see them cos of graphics, there were no clearer samus' until smash bros and she didnt have them there nor in melee. so the green glowys are new thus the brawl model is new. her missiles however arent new, theyre a bit retro so its a lil mix and match. samus is solo in all her games i guess but shes not supposed to be absolutely stubborn to that persona, she works with adam, and the other hunters and soldiers... plus she cudnt resisnt tagging along with link if she tried! |

yeah, Samus is definitely in her prime gear. The armor is less bulky than it's 16 bit representation.
