Sora for Brawl

everytime someone mentions anything related to final fantasy , the victory music starts to play in my head .


do the new final fantasy games still play that music after every battle ? if not , those games should be fired into the sun .

the victory music has persisted in all games, and it even showed up in Advent Chilrdern.

The song gets tweaked but the basic melody remains.

i also would like to see sora join brawl, i made a moveset thing, but ive posted it before under "warning master swordsman"  so i dunno if i should again. Anyway, yeah he has great combos in the kh games and he would fit in well with smash because his games are essentially sorta of like smash games (not in the gameplay, in the fact that there are a bunch of characters who otherwise have nothing to do with each other but in the game, they interact and have a seperate storyline). Also, the heartless look and act alot like i would expect the new dark subspace emissary enemies to act. It all just fits nicely.

heres the moveset again anyway:

B: Sora throws his keyblade across the stage and then it reappears in his hand. Hold B to launch it as farther, and press B again while the keyblade is thrown to have it reappear in your hands.

B+ forward: Guard Break or Slide Dash (both are attacks where Sora charges at enemies with his keyblade pointing toward them.)

B+ down: Reaction command (press down + B just before someone attacks and you do damage to them instead, something like Marth and Roy's counter) or something else, wouldn’t be too hard to find another move from the Kingdom Hearts games and put it here.

B+ up: Ragnarok (Sora jumps up and shoots lasers out of his keyblade)

A: Slapshot (3-hit combo Sora can attack with while moving).

A+ forward: the vertical slash he originally ends combos with in Kingdom Hearts 2 (if the explosion or guard break abilities weren’t equipped on him).

A+ up: Upper Slash (which knocks enemies into the air).

A+ down: Explosion (Sora hits the ground with the keyblade and spheres of magic appear around him, hitting the enemies around him).

A+ up aerial: Aerial Spiral (Sora rises upward while moving and attacking in a spiral like shape).

A neutral aerial: Aerial Finish (Sora attacks in a cross like motion, keeping the enemy suspended in air whiles he’s attacking.)

A+ down aerial: also don’t know yet, but also not hard to make up.

A+ forward aerial: don’t know yet.

Block: He can use the keyblade to block, like he does in Kingdom Hearts games.

Dodge: Quick dash (which he learns from using wisdom form in Kingdom Hearts 2 for a certain amount of times), or the reaction command dodge he does many times when fighting the last boss in Kingdom Hearts 2.

Final Smash: Final Form (without having to fuse with Donald and Goofy) (which gives him a serious boost in attack power and the ability to glide), or he does a made up attack where he takes out all the keyblades and sends them flying at enemies. Or any other super crazy move he has or can do that you can think of.

edit: its sorta like hulk smash's moveset, with a few differences...

cool moveset! its a bit naive to make him too ultimate tho.. haha lets hone down on the A moves a bit.. they shouldnt combo so much..

lol yeah they were just examples of what he could do, taken from kh1 and kh2, and how he could be good in brawl.

speaking of sakurai reading this...he may be doing so...to see what people are expecting...and if people are expecting something badly, he holds it until sometime people don't talk about it.

hmm...if I'm not mistaken, he's the one doing the English updates as well. It actually seems that the english uk and jap sites go slightly first, so most likely, he does understand.

Actually you shouldn't assume that so quick, i kind of agree that he might know some english but i highly doubt he can undestand and fluently construct the sentencing. Remember Sakurai is with Nintendo, a multi-million (if not Billion) dollar corporation, they are going to have some translators and tech specialists working with him on the dojo site heh.

Many Japanese know English, so it wouldn't surprise me if he does the English side, but he might not.

Either way, I doubt he is reading this.  However, he probably has people working for him who file reports on what the general opinions are of the people by visiting major websites. Since this place has been mentioned on IGN's boards, there's a decent chance that they're watching us.

I'm going to go fetch my tinfoil hat.
