Lucario is a steel/fighting type and is one of the most popular 4th gen Pokemon. Search for him youll find him without trouble

I think Lugia would be kool as a PC instead of Mewtwo. But seeing as they're probably going to represent the newest generation of Pokemon, they're gonna have polemon from that series. So, whatever pokemon are in that series that are physic types. ( I haven't been keeping up with Pokemon lately.)

lugia is to big to be in brawl. it wouldnt look right if they made it smaller either. i think magmotor or electrivire could work too. or gallade.

Lucario would be an interesting addition to the mix. However, I'd prefer Sakurai to focus on expanding the number of representatives on other franchises that needs them like Metroid, or introduce new representatives from a new or different franchise.
Pokemon already got good representatives Pikachu, Mewtwo, Jigglypuff and not to mention three pokemons in one (Pokemon Trainer).
Otherwise, Lucario would be okay because he could represent the new generation of Pokemon. (Diamond and Pearl to be specific)
