that seems to be the million coin question. How does he move around. I'm guessing that he'll run to the closest spot to the pokemon so he can pull them in if he needs to.
I'm also wondering if you'll be able to see their stamina

kirby would turn into the pokemon he eats right not the trainer...(but it diff. colors makes charizard something else then he would have to be the trainer..)

different colors aren't going to change what the pokemon are. It'd be too difficult to match them up with creatures with the same powers and same basic body parts. Even other starting pokemon have problems as they don't have wings.
Most likely they are just going to be different colors, although I'm hoping they will have different hats.
And Kirby will probably steal the hat of the one he's fighgting just like with Zelda sheik. So I'm guessing
Wings, Bulb, Turtle shell helmet.

Heh i like the wings idea Hulksmash for kirbys borrowed power off of Charizard. What i think would be a nice touch for the pokemon trainer is how he moves in the background. Sure he can run along the side in some areas, but in the areas where the platform moves across large areas he could bust out another flying type pokemon and fly alongside the stage/platform. Whoever said this guy only has his fighting pokemon with him hehe.

Well...Pkmn trainer would basically run in the background as well. As for costumes...all of them I feel would have costume changes...even the pkmn trainer. If I remember right, the icons on dojo are the same icons when you choose the character. Anyone, please confirm this. Thanks!

Well, the pokemon trainer will definitely change his wardrobe colors to match his pokemon. I'm guessing that they'll all just change colors (so you'll have default colors, everybody in green, everybody in red, etc) But I think it'd be funnier if everybody got matching/themed hats (even the pokemon trainer)

THEMED HATS WOULD ROCK! Imagine them wearing silly hats...haha...Charizard would look great in a top hat...well...I guess there could be like for every color:
Red: Pokemon Trainer's Hat
Blue: Aviation Wear
Black: Cool wear like top hats and shades
Green: Simple Hats
Yellow: Festival Hats
Now that's great...haha
