In reality, you do get to play all characters in SSE 1st runthrough. Thing is, four of which have the option to join your party and are not automatic. You'd have to satisfy certain conditions in order to get them. Here are the four:
GANONDORF: In the missions called "Subspace," you would have to use the four revived characters (Luigi, Ness, Dedede and Kirby) to save the rest of the trophified characters. Whether you save them or not is your option. However, if you don't save Link and/or Zelda, you will not be able to save Ganondorf, thus not making him join your party.
After beating Tabuu once, new portals appear leading to Pokémon Stadium 2, Pirate Ship and Lylat Cruise. Here you can fight the last three SSE optionals:
TOON LINK: Find the newly opened portal in the mission "Forest." The portal will be found after the first "flash fight."
JIGGLYPUFF: Find the newly opened portal in the mission "Swamp." The portal will be found after the "flash fight" that comes up after beating Shadow Bug Giant Diddy Kong.
WOLF: Find the newly opened portal in the mission "Ruins." The portal will be found after dropping from the elevator-platform.

Well, SSE can be beat in one dedicated sitting, and first day ill probably lose track of time so i might go thruogh the whole thing and ill find out how to get all of them so i dont have to redo missions.. |
