Hey so IGN's smash it up articles go by and a while back in the 'CAPCOM FIVE" article there was a statement they made:
But we haven't yet spent time speculating on which company will get the third third-party spot, or the fourth, or the fifth – you can go ahead and let go of the "Sakurai said only 1-2 more third-party spots" argument right now, because that's ridiculously outdated news. We know there are going to be more than that – count on it – so we're going to start pulling back the curtain on who it could be from a variety of possible companies.
i wanna know what you all think about that. is it true? IGN arent like the idiots in their forum who go around making sh*t up. or are IGN talking out their ass to make more possibilities for future smash it up articles? If it were true, which are the 3 top 3rd parties you'd want and why?

ign might be saying that just to keep us interested in their articles by giving us false hope, but i still think that sakurai wiil put one more 3rd party character which will probably be megaman, although id prefer others such as simon belmont

But seriously, Sakurai could change his mind about clones and 3rd parties...if he has the chance. The last time he said that was a long time ago so it's possible.

you could be right ajax but only sakurai knows how many there will be, i wouldnt want too many 3rd p char. but if you must have that many,make sure the ones that get the spot, deserve it

I personally don't think the 3 character 3rd party restriction is still valid. They wont push too many but i definitley think 3 feels low.

like i said in the clone controversy section.....bring those clones back super or normal sakurai will be making the next super smash from a wheel chair  .more third parties are fine though  . |

hahahaha! rofl. yeh id love for that sht. its roy ganon and falco youre mainly talking abt yea? cmos sakurai wat eva happend to roys our boy! hel b heartbroken if u dump him! i wudnt push for too many 3rd parties but why does there have to be only one from each? the reason the mushroom kingdom has so many characters is bcos its rich in characters whereas metroid and yoshi's story has few reccurring main characters. honestly if there were up to 2 reps for every new franchis with 3 new franchises, who wouldnt like to see knux or raiden in brawl? or there could be megaman X and Zero?
