i was watching the video against ganondorf and i noticed toon link dosnt do a spin he slashes the sword everywhere and i thought i saw him shoot a bomb arrow! btw i wanna make this the official toon link thread so n e info on him goes here

Same. And when you look at the way he performs his attacks, they are much more irratic, and so they differ from Link in that sense.
I am very happy hes in, and im hoping they used his grappling hook as a tether recovery!

I am very happy hes in, and im hoping they used his grappling hook as a tether recovery!
Yeah honestly I am most looking forward to playing as toon link...even more then playing as Sonic(I hate Sonic) or Capt. Olimar. |

The reason im asking is cuz i havent seen any Falcon gameplay yet and i wont be able to compare them until i do.

i wish toon link cud copy snakes up special cuz who knos tht irratic slash might b a standard move and he cud use the deku leaf like cypher or he cud do the wind waker real quick and fly up on a tornado

Well here's the moveset I gave him before we knew he was playable and quite frankly I like my moveset WAY better. Standard Special-Deku Leaf would work like Mario's F.L.U.D.D. except it would be a gust of windUp Special-Ballad of the Gales would work like Zelda's Farore's Wind and link would be inside a tornado-like objectSide Special-Skull Hammer he would bash opponents with the hammerDown Special-Magic Shield would reflect projectilesFinal Smash-Wind's Requiem Link equip his iron boots, take out his wind waker and play the Wind's Requiem and a huge gust of wind would blow characters right off the stage.Anyways heres a link. http://www.smashpower.com/forums/index.php/topic,975.0.html |

Nah, he is a clone. his moves look differnt, but they are the same idea.

Uhm regarding clones, Sakurai made provisions this time around that even if these characters are clones, their feel is very different and some moves aren't alike. So, even if they are clonish, expect a difference in battle.

Very good point. Even though characters might be considered "clones", they do have different feels from 1 another, run slower, attack stronger, jump higher, all that. I really dont mind clones, as long as theyre not as annoying as Ganon from Melee lol |
