I can't forgive Sakurai for giving us 3 characters with the same moveset (Fox, Falco, Wolf) - that's just plain lazy.
Krystal should've been in - with her staff (weapon) she could've had a truly unique moveset.
Missed opportunity.
But I'm still not convinced we know the full roster - we may yet be suprised.
And Mario and Luigi are not clones.

Exactly. I'd prefer to have a stand-alone Charizard, Squirtle and Ivyasaur and have Fox/Falco/Wolf as alternate skins rather than different characters. |

I think the reason why he was included is to thank him for being one of the 7 games to receive the honor of a 40/40. They put both realistic and toon because of the fact that LoZ is a game that garnered 2 40/40s for Nintendo.
For Clone haters in general:
The movesets may be the same but attributes are different. They still make for a good game. And besides, they really have not much of a choice but to be really alike.

i understand, and i'm still happy that toon link is in even if he's a clone, but all i can do is pray for a little more variation (i.e. if wolf had dual blasters)... .. i can safely say that i'm more content with the variety of stages than the roster |

yea that's what i thought, but i'm actually happier that that's the case... we can truly see an impressive story mode where all these nintendo legends interact and team up.... and the cutscenes are amazing too (in-game graphics?!) |
