It's hard for me to button mash in smash (or any game that needs button smashing)
So maybe controls that are better suited for lefties?

Well that's the beauty of Brawl, the controls are completely customizable. Hmm i wonder though if it would be possible to turn the Wii mote 180 degrees and customize the buttons so you have the D pad on the right side of the controller and the 1 and 2 button on the left, assuming you can map the movement of your character too heh.

Looks like you might be able to flip the D-Pad but I'm not sure:
