IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT:
I am allowing the creation of Original Characters here on Smash Power. For what reasons would any of you ask? It's rather private and secretive as of now, and more information will be revealed. But exactly what do I mean? I am talking about characters such as Nikon, Kinang, Amon, etc. and any other characters made by members here. I am going to provide a hidden limit to the amount that can be made. For those who haven't made a character in 2100 yet, feel free to join (only if you're an SP member).

I'm going to try and make a batch of characters to add some flavor into your story, y'know? Haven't seen a lot of fuzziness, cuteness, craziness, and originality in awhile (no offense) in your story from what I've seen, so I wanna try out my imagination and hope you accept the characters I make. Also, lol at 69 pages here.

Why does Karoku look so different now, I miss the old Karoku...or at least the one other artists drew :-P
If it has to do with the face, believe you me I have erased it and redrew it over 10 times. I can't seem to pull off a masculine look, arrgh!!  And duh, every other artist that has drawn him were way better than me. Also, I redrew him because of plot-line purposes. There's more to the outfit than meets the eye. Also, personally, I got bored of the previous attire. Not only that, but his torso/abdomen were dangerously small compared to the rest of his legs. I also didn't like his face too much in the last one since again, it was a desperate attempt in drawing a "proper" masculine rage-face. I failed at that too... I think the part I'm worried about is that I've drawn so many characters, some of which came out good in my eyes, but the process in scanning, removing smudges, adjusting height and all of that have driven me nuts, ESPECIALLY with the facial comparison coupled with the height factor (i.e. is the face too small or is it the head? Is the anatomy correct? This person would appear taller or too short next to... etc.). Besides my failed attempt, I prefer this Karoku over the last one. Personality-wise, it's the same guy. Nothing has changed. |

It's pretty much the face part of the head, it's too petite. Guys have more square/reverse-trapezoidal faces.
One thing though, is there anything special about that gauntlet Karoku has?

Yep, I know what you mean. I can totally see it, and that's why I was slightly upset with the results. This is why I'm better at drawing girls. If I'm lucky, I will meet a person in real-life who can draw the concept-art while I do the writing Yes, there is, including the new sword. I need to include it in his powers/weapon description, although I think I should stop here and just advise you look at my other account at dA. No one reads this stuff anymore anyway. |
