Oh, right. I was thinking old school Nintendo handheld, like Gameboy and Gameboy color.

Roxas also stars in 358/2 Days for DS

But before the flame war starts again, the point I'm trying to make is that the character imbalances are EVIDENCE that Sakurai did not focus on the roster like he should have.  Had he taken the characters seriously, he would've added Isaac instead of stupid ROB.  Sakurai could have made SSB a much more fun experience because it's about multiplayer, NOT SSE.  Gameplay-wise, the tripping is stupid, although the foot-stooling can stay, that's funny.  The gameplay feels too slow, and there are a lot of lame, unnecessary characters.  Seriously, where are the first-party characters like Isaac, Custom Robo, Midna, and Ridley, and where are the others like Megaman (Classic), Geno, Sora, and hell, throw in someone from Namco!  Aside from my opinion on SSB's lack of balance, my BIGGEST concern is Sakurai's lack of interest in the multiplayer field.  SSB feels too casual, and for that, it's lacking in roster-size.  It kind of proves he really didn't care about multiplayer...

anyways, i like the fact that the game play is slow, i prefer that over melee which was too fast (for me at least)

God... And Wario... ALL of his moves have armor-frames.  The only reason he's top-tier is because of his ridiculous priority.  Fast AND strong?  Isn't that going over 9,000 Sakurai!?

I agree with the tripping though, its ruined me too many times

This. I know Melee was faster, but I prefer Brawl over it.  Ive gotten used to the number of characters and whatnot. The gameplay is just more fun imo

The gameplay feels too slow...

I'm in complete agreement there. If there's on thing I could change in Brawl, or for the next installment of the SSB series, it'd be from this the slow, floaty mechanics of the gameplay to the fluent, hard-hitting speed of Melee. Melee is amazing with its speed and engaging high-action feel, and to me, that makes me prefer Melee over Brawl when it comes to the actual fighting experience.

I'm still not an advocate of tiers. I guess I had the "TR4Q" mantra of SP drilled into me too hard to let loose of it. If anyone's "broken", it's the players.

I disagree with Juancho and Bob. I like Brawl better.

I prefer the gameplay of Melee more, but I do like Brawl better for the WiFi.

Both games have their pros and cons, but I just preferred Brawl a little bit more than I already do if it had more characters.
